The 2024 Inkwell Pink Cashmere Rosé is a distinctive expression of McLaren Vale, drawing inspiration from the savoury, textured rosés of southern France and northern Spain. A blend of 60% Mataro and 40% Grenache, it reveals fragrant wild raspberry, blood orange and dried rose petals, layered with mandarin peel, subtle spice and earthy Mediterranean herbs. The palate is beautifully dry and finely textured, with vibrant acidity, delicate tannins and a savoury complexity that lends remarkable depth. Fermentation and maturation in concrete, seasoned oak and stainless steel preserve freshness and character. Produced in a limited release of just 1,000 bottles, this is a serious, gastronomic rosé, particularly suited to charcuterie, grilled seafood or Mediterranean dishes.
