Isodi Chianti Classico 2022

I Sodi is a family run estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, north of Siena, with origins dating back to 1893. The Casini family purchased the property in 1973 and has steadily developed it into a quality focused Tuscan producer.

The vineyards sit on gently sloping, sun exposed sites with the classic Alberese and Galestro soils of the region, combining limestone, stone and marl. Natural underground water reserves help the vines through warmer, drier seasons.

Since 2000, Andrea Casini has led the estate alongside his family, renewing vineyard plantings and placing greater emphasis on grape quality, traditional cultivation and environmentally conscious farming with minimal treatments and organic fertilisers.
