Jean Marc Burgaud Morgon Chollet 2024 is a deeper, more structured take on Gamay from one of Beaujolais’ most respected producers.

Sourced from clay rich soils in the southern part of Morgon, it shows ripe cherry and raspberry layered with darker fruit, gentle spice and a hint of earth. The aromatics are generous but still well defined.

The palate is fuller and more rounded than typical Beaujolais, with supple tannins and a quiet grip that gives it shape and length. There is a sense of weight and depth here, while still keeping freshness intact.

A great match for roast pork, duck or earthy mushroom dishes.
