Jim Barry Lodge Hill Shiraz 2023

Jim Barry Lodge Hill Shiraz comes from one of Clare Valley’s most established vineyard sites, set five kilometres east of Clare on the elevated Eastern Ranges.

The palate is generous but controlled, with ripe blackberry, dark plum and black cherry supported by subtle spice, savoury notes and fine tannin. There is plenty of fruit, though the wine retains the freshness and structure that Clare Valley Shiraz is known for.

Jim Barry purchased the Lodge Hill Vineyard in 1977, with Shiraz first planted in 1979. Today it remains an important part of the family’s Clare Valley story. A natural match for roast lamb, grilled beef or slow cooked dishes.
