Kaesler Old Vine Shiraz 2022

Kaesler’s2022 Old Vines Shiraz is a polished Barossa Valley red sourced from estate vineyards planted in the 1960s. Hand harvested and matured for 16 months in French oak puncheons, it combines concentrated fruit with a more refined, structured feel. Dark and red plum, cherry, blueberry and liquorice lead into notes of spice, violet, dark chocolate and savoury oak. The palate is full bodied and supple, with fine sandy tannins and bright acidity keeping the richness in check. Concentrated without feeling heavy, it finishes long and savoury. A strong example of modern Barossa Shiraz with plenty of cellaring potential.
