The 2025 The Fave Grenache is a fragrant, finely structured expression of Barossa Valley Grenache, capturing the purity and freshness of the variety through a considered, minimal intervention approach. Aromas of red cherry, pomegranate and delicate florals are layered with dried herbs and subtle savoury spice. Partial carbonic maceration lends aromatic lift, while gentle extraction and maturation in seasoned French oak preserve the wine’s vibrant fruit character. The palate is supple and beautifully poised, with fine, chalky tannins and refreshing acidity carrying through to a long, elegant finish. Enjoy slightly chilled in warmer weather or allow it to develop over the next few years. Particularly suited to crispy pork belly or roast duck.
