Kanta Adelaide Hills Riesling 2024

The 2024 Kanta Riesling is a finely tuned and expressive Adelaide Hills Riesling, born from the collaboration between Egon Müller and Michael Andrewartha (owner of East End Cellar), combining German precision with premium cool-climate Australian fruit. It's a Riesling built on purity and mineral drive. The nose lifts with lime zest, green apple and lemon blossom, layered with wet stone, fennel and a faint herbal edge that keeps it interesting.

On the palate it's light to medium bodied, with a crisp, focused structure. Bright citrus and green apple sit against a fine saline minerality, while the acidity is vibrant without being sharp. The finish is long, dry and refreshing. It drinks beautifully now but has the backbone to reward a few years in the cellar. Pair it with oysters, sashimi or a green papaya salad.
