Kientzler’s 2021 Kirchberg Pinot Gris comes from one of Ribeauvillé’s highest and coolest Grand Cru sites, where forest breezes help preserve freshness and acidity. The combination of altitude, limestone influenced soils and a cool exposure gives this Pinot Gris a particularly taut, mineral driven profile. Ripe pear, white peach and citrus sit alongside subtle smoky and savoury notes, with a broad yet focused palate and fine phenolic texture. At 14% ABV, 1.1g/L residual sugar and 6.64g/L acidity, it is technically dry with plenty of freshness. A precise Alsace Pinot Gris with excellent structure and cellaring potential.
