Koerner Old Vine Limestone Riesling 2025

Koerner Gullyview Riesling comes from a south facing section of the family’s original Watervale vineyard, planted in 1973 on shallow red clay over limestone.

The wine is bright and mineral, with lemon, citrus peel and subtle ginger spice alongside a gentle savoury edge. Fermentation and maturation in ceramic amphora, followed by extended time on fine lees, builds softness and texture while full malolactic fermentation adds further breadth.

At 11.7% alcohol, it remains fresh and finely balanced, with a chalky line and quiet complexity through the finish. A distinctive Clare Valley Riesling for oysters, grilled fish or lightly spiced dishes.
