Koerner Pigato Vermentino 2023

This 2023 Vermentino from Gullyview Vineyard in Watervale puts a fresh spin on the variety, with 20 days of skin contact adding colour, texture and gentle phenolic grip. Hand harvested from terra rossa soils over limestone, the fruit was naturally fermented in open top steel with no fining or filtration before seven months in tank. Expect juicy peach, iced tea, citrus and subtle herbal notes, with bright acidity keeping the palate lively and refreshing. At just 10.1% ABV, it is light on its feet without lacking flavour. A vibrant, textural white for seafood, salads or drinking well chilled.
