Koerner The Clare Red 2023

Koerner The Clare is a modern take on classic Australian Claret, combining Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Carignan and Malbec from Clare Valley vineyards planted on Terra Rossa soils.

The palate is bright and medium bodied, with blackcurrant, red cherry and plum joined by subtle herbal and savoury notes. Natural fermentation and 18 months in large Slavonian oak foudre build texture without adding obvious oak character, while fine tannins and fresh acidity keep the wine energetic.

Elegant, vibrant and quietly structured, this is a versatile Clare Valley red for lamb, grilled meats or tomato based dishes.
