La Petite Vanguard Rosado 2023

Pale cherry blossom in colour, this is a bright and energetic expression of Tinta Barroca from Michael Corbett’s La Petite Vanguard range. A Portuguese variety more commonly associated with the Douro, Tinta Barroca shows plenty of versatility here, offering delicate red berry fruit, floral notes and a touch of savoury complexity. Light in body with fresh acidity and fine tannins, it has a youthful, uncomplicated charm without being one dimensional. Best served lightly chilled, this is an easy choice for warm afternoons, picnics or pairing with lighter summer dishes.
