Lambert Nebbiolo 2023

Luke Lambert Nebbiolo 2023 is one of the benchmark expressions of Australian Nebbiolo, grown on the granitic soils of Denton Vineyard in the Yarra Valley.

Rose, sour cherry and orange rind lead the palate, with anise and subtle savoury spice adding complexity. Fine tannins and bright acidity give the wine structure and length, while the warmer, more generous 2023 season brings a little extra softness and darker fruit. Wild fermentation and 18 months in old Slavonian and French oak foudres keep the focus firmly on variety and site.

Fragrant, detailed and built to age, this is a beautiful match for duck, mushroom dishes or slow cooked beef.
