Domaine L'Anglore Tavel Vaucrose 2021

The 2021 L’Anglore Tavel Vaucrose is an exceptional expression of Rhône Valley rosé, possessing the depth and structure more commonly associated with fine red Burgundy. Crafted from Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette, it reveals fragrant wild strawberry, red cherry and blood orange, layered with rose petals, dried herbs and subtle spice. The palate is remarkably composed, with concentrated red fruit, vibrant acidity and delicate tannins lending texture and definition. Extended maturation of approximately 22 months brings savoury complexity, while a distinctive saline minerality carries through to a long, persistent finish. A serious, age worthy Tavel with remarkable finesse, particularly suited to roast duck, Mediterranean cuisine or charcuterie.
