Le Ragnaie Troncone Sangiovese 2024

From the elevated vineyards of Montalcino, Le Ragnaie's 2024 Troncone offers a wonderfully fresh and elegant expression of Tuscan Sangiovese. Made from younger vines, it captures the finesse and traditional approach that define Riccardo Campinoti's wines.

Wild strawberry, red cherry and cranberry meet delicate notes of dried rose, leather and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is light to medium bodied, with vibrant acidity, fine tannins and a subtle stony, savoury finish.

Fermented naturally and matured in large Slavonian oak casks, this is a beautifully approachable Sangiovese with plenty of character. Particularly good alongside mushroom pasta, roast chicken or a simple Margherita pizza.
