Part of Lobo's gin comes from their orchard. They use the aromatic
yellow skin of Quinces that Michael grows, and after a period of
maceration distill these with the other more traditional botanicals,
headlined by Juniper, and the result is delicious, and slightly different,
in a delightful way.
They called their Gin - LOBO Djinn - djinn being the origin of the word
genie, meaning something along the lines of an animal spirit.
Sort of a pun on a spirit in a bottle, if you look through the star on the
front of the label, the spirit lives inside.
