Luigi Giordano Langhe Freisa 2022

Luigi Giordano Langhe Freisa 2022 is a modern, finely balanced take on this traditional Piedmont variety, sourced from the Valle dei Salici (“Valley of the Willows”). Given extra time in bottle prior to release, it shows both approachability and structure.

The nose is bright and aromatic, with red berry fruit, rosehip and subtle floral lift. The palate is lively and fresh, offering wild strawberry and sweet cranberry flavours framed by fine, drying tannins and vibrant acidity—hallmarks of the Freisa grape.

While immediately drinkable, this wine retains the structure to evolve over time, gradually developing more savoury, Nebbiolo-like complexity. It pairs beautifully with charcuterie, tomato-based dishes, grilled meats or rustic Italian fare.
