This 2022 Pinot Noir is 2/3 Huon Valley and 1/3 Derwent Valley, from Estate Lubiana family vineyards. The wine is made from a mixture of whole bunch (Derwent) and whole berry (Huon), there is a gentle fermentation and long elevage in 228L barrels with 15% new French oak. This resulted in a wine with fresh notes of raspberry, wild blueberries, cherries and pomegranate, forest floor and spice, there is more acid than the previous vintage and grippier tannins.
