Marquis D'angerville Bourgogne Aligote 2023

Marquis d’Angerville Bourgogne Aligoté is a fresh, energetic expression of Burgundy’s historic white grape variety.

Sourced from the Monpoulain lieu dit in Volnay, the vines grow on deep, clay rich soils with relatively little limestone. The wine is driven by bright acidity, with notes of lemon, green apple and subtle white flowers giving it a clean, refreshing profile.

Taut and precise rather than rich, this is a classic Aligoté with plenty of lift and a gently savoury finish. Enjoy it as an aperitif or pair with oysters, shellfish, fresh goat cheese or simple vegetable dishes.
