Marquis D'angerville Bourgogne Blanc 2023

Marquis d’Angerville Bourgogne Blanc is a precise and quietly refined Chardonnay that offers a great introduction to this historic Volnay estate.

Sourced from around 30 year old vines on deep clay soils in the eastern part of Volnay, it shows fresh lemon, white peach and subtle floral notes with a clean mineral edge. The palate is crisp and focused, with bright acidity and gentle texture giving the wine more depth than you might expect from a regional Burgundy.

Vinified with the same care as the domaine’s Premier Cru Meursault, this is a polished, understated white Burgundy. Pair with grilled fish, roast chicken, shellfish or soft cheeses.
