Marquis d’Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Champans 2023 is a beautifully structured Burgundy from one of Volnay’s benchmark estates, a domaine with more than 200 years of family history in the village.

Made from Pinot Noir grown in the prized Champans Premier Cru, it shows cherry and red berries alongside peony, subtle spice and a distinct mineral edge. The palate has impressive depth, with fine powdery tannins, fresh acidity and a gently saline finish that gives the wine real precision.

Elegant yet more structured than classic Volnay might suggest, this is built to develop beautifully with time. Pair with duck, roast chicken, mushroom dishes or veal.
