Massolino Barolo Parussi 2020

Massolino Barolo Parussi 2020 is a distinctive single-vineyard expression from Castiglione Falletto, sourced from one of the estate’s most prized cru sites just bordering Serralunga. It highlights a more open, perfumed and energetic side of Barolo compared to the firmer Serralunga style.

The nose is expressive and lifted, with red cherry, raspberry and dried rose petals layered over hints of spice, orange peel and subtle earthy undertones. The palate is vibrant and finely structured, showing supple yet present tannins, bright acidity and a core of pure red fruit carried with clarity and lift.

The lighter, more oxygenated soils of Parussi give the wine a sense of agility and aromatic brightness, while still retaining depth and ageing potential. It finishes long, precise and gently savoury. A versatile Barolo that pairs beautifully with braised meats, mushroom dishes, truffle pasta and richer Piedmontese cuisine.
