Mastroberardino Mastro Rosso is an approachable introduction to the native red grapes of Campania, combining Aglianico and Piedirosso from vineyards across Irpinia and Sannio.

Bright plum, strawberry and cherry lead the palate, with subtle notes of black pepper, cinnamon and darker cherry developing through the finish. Medium bodied with gentle tannin and fresh acidity, it has enough structure to feel distinctly Italian without becoming heavy.

Mastroberardino is one of Campania’s historic producers and has played an important role in preserving the region’s indigenous varieties. A versatile red for pizza, pasta with tomato based sauces or simple grilled meats.
