Michel Chapoutier Chateauneuf Du Pape Bernardine 2022

A classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend led by Grenache, with smaller amounts of Syrah and Mourvèdre. Grown on stony terraces shaped by ancient Rhône riverbeds, the grapes are carefully sorted before undergoing traditional fermentation in concrete tanks for optimal extraction. Aged for 15 months, the wine shows deep crimson color and layered aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cherry, and spice. Smooth and elegant on the palate with notes of liquorice and roasted coffee. A wine with great finesse and ageing potential of 10–15 years, rooted in the historic terroir once favored by the papacy.
