A finely detailed Rioja red from the cool, easterly facing El Rincon parcel on the La Dehesa hillside.

Tempranillo leads the blend, with small amounts of Graciano and Garnacha adding lift and complexity. Mulberry, sour plum and boysenberry sit alongside heather, cocoa, cola and graphite, with subtle earthy and balsamic notes underneath.

The palate is medium bodied and beautifully composed, with ripe fruit, fine natural acidity and smooth, flowing tannins rather than obvious weight. Grown on clay and limestone soils, this is an elegant, quietly savoury expression of Rioja that works beautifully with lamb, charcuterie or roast vegetables.
