Molly Dooker Blue Eyed Boy 2023

A bold, unmistakably McLaren Vale Shiraz from Mollydooker, built around ripe fruit, generous oak and a plush, full bodied style.

Blueberry, plum and dark berry fruit lead the nose, followed by aniseed, mocha and chocolate cream. The palate is rich and concentrated, with plenty of weight but enough soft tannin to keep the wine smooth and composed through the finish.

Fruit comes from vineyards across McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, with the wine barrel fermented and matured entirely in American oak. At 15% alcohol, this is powerful and generous, and well suited to beef brisket, grilled steak or slow cooked meats.
