Sourced from the Gateway Vineyard, it opens with ripe blackberry, cassis and raspberry, layered with dark chocolate, coffee and warm spice. The palate is dense and opulent, with plush fruit, supple tannins and a long, velvety texture that carries the wine’s considerable concentration with surprising polish.

Barrel fermentation and maturation in 100% new American oak adds further richness, sweetness of spice and depth. A bold, full bodied Shiraz suited to slow cooked beef, rich lamb dishes or a well marbled steak.
