Muga Reserva Rioja 2022

A benchmark Rioja from one of Spain's most respected producers, the 2022 Muga Reserva combines Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano in a beautifully balanced, traditional style.

Ripe black cherry, dark plum and red berries sit alongside notes of cedar, tobacco, warm spice and a touch of chocolate. The palate is generous yet refined, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a lingering savoury finish.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 22 months in French and American oak, this is a classic Rioja Reserva with impressive depth and structure. Drinking beautifully now, with plenty of potential to develop further in the cellar. Excellent alongside roast lamb, grilled meats or mushroom dishes.
