Nicolas Maillart’s Mont Martin 2017 is a rare 100% Pinot Meunier Champagne from a single Premier Cru vineyard in Villers Allerand, showing just how precise and serious Meunier can be.

Deep gold in the glass, with aromas of fresh brioche, ripe orchard fruit and subtle spice. The palate is energetic and finely detailed, combining generous fruit with bright acidity, a gentle savoury edge and impressive length.

Fermented in wood, aged on lees and made without malolactic fermentation, the style is textured but firmly driven by freshness. A low dosage of 4 g/L keeps the finish dry and focused.

Excellent with roast chicken, charcuterie or richer seafood dishes.
