Ernesto Catena Padrillos Malbec is a distinctive expression of Mendoza, Argentina, crafted by fourth generation winemaker Ernesto Catena. Sourced from the Uco Valley, this 100% Malbec reveals concentrated aromas of blackberry, blueberry and cassis, layered with violet, wild herbs and subtle spice. The palate is generous yet finely structured, with ripe dark fruit, supple tannins and a savoury complexity of tobacco, graphite and dark chocolate. Fresh acidity provides balance, while notes of cedar, liquorice and clove carry through to a persistent finish.
