Penfolds Grange 1977

Penfolds Grange 1977 is a mature expression of Australia’s most iconic Shiraz based wine, built from fruit across the Barossa Valley, Magill Estate and Clare Valley.

The nose shows sweet dark chocolate, briary fruit, tar and roasted meat, reflecting both development and the signature Grange savoury depth.

The palate is rich and loosely knit, with dark chocolate and dark berry fruit supported by slightly bitter, resolved tannins. It finishes long and balanced, with maturity now fully expressed and no expectation of further improvement.
