Penfolds Reserve Bin 25A Chardonnay 2025

The 2025 Penfolds Reserve Bin A Chardonnay is a distinguished expression of Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, combining impressive concentration with the precision of a cool climate style. Aromas of white peach, roasted cashew and subtle struck flint unfold alongside savoury notes of toasted shallot and delicate oak spice. The palate is generous and beautifully textured, with layers of ripe stone fruit, vanilla cream and subtle saline minerality. Whole bunch pressing, barrel fermentation and full malolactic fermentation contribute richness and complexity, while fresh acidity maintains balance and definition. Matured for eight months in French oak, including 58% new barrels, this is a powerful yet composed Chardonnay with exceptional ageing potential. Particularly suited to roast chicken, lobster or rich seafood dishes.
