Tasting notes open with lifted dark plum, blackberry and ripe cherry, followed by rose like perfume, sweet spice and fine cocoa. The palate is opulent and layered, with a velvety texture, fine grained tannins and a long, polished finish that feels more flowing than forceful.

Style wise this is a rich but finely detailed Barossa Shiraz, built for perfume, texture and elegance rather than sheer muscle.

Best with roast duck, slow cooked beef short rib or mature hard cheeses.
