Rockford Alicante Bouchet 2026

Rockford Alicante Bouschet is one of the Barossa Valley’s most distinctive wines, made from a rare red fleshed grape variety that gives naturally deep colour without extended skin contact.

Bright cherry, strawberry and raspberry lead the palate, with gentle sweetness, fresh acidity and a soft, generous texture. Lower in alcohol and best served chilled, it sits somewhere between a light red and a rosé in style, making it especially easy to enjoy.

Rockford has worked with Alicante Bouschet for more than 25 years, using it to produce a fragrant, vibrant expression of Barossa fruit. Ideal with charcuterie, picnic food or lightly spiced dishes.
