Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Rockford’s 2022 Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon is a traditional Barossa expression built from old-vine fruit grown near Krondorf. It reflects the winery’s hallmark style of structure, balance and careful, hands-on winemaking.

The nose is deep and inviting, showing blackcurrant, cassis and mulberry layered with cedar, mint and warm spice. The palate is concentrated yet composed, with rich dark fruit framed by savoury earth tones and finely structured tannins that give shape without weight.

Long and classically styled, the finish carries subtle cigar box complexity and lingering dark fruit. A natural match for roast lamb, beef Wellington or slow-cooked beef dishes, this is a Cabernet built for both immediate enjoyment and long-term cellaring through to 2040.
