A richly flavoured Barossa red built around Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, with a nod to the region’s old bush vine traditions.

This 2024 blend reflects a family effort to restore the original Grenache and Shiraz vines once planted by early German pioneers on the vineyard. Today, those varieties form the backbone of a classic Barossa blend, with Mataro adding savoury depth and spice.

Deeper in colour than the 2023 vintage, the wine opens with potpourri, dark cherry and musk, followed by ripe raspberry, dark cherry and a subtle raspberry cola character. Shiraz brings extra weight, while peppery spice adds savoury detail. Generous yet balanced, it is a natural partner for slow cooked beef, barbecued meats or hearty pasta.
