Salomon Estate Finniss River Shiraz 2021

From Austrian winemaker Bert Salomon's South Australian estate, the 2021 Finniss River Shiraz offers a more restrained, elegant expression of the variety, shaped by the cooling influence of the Southern Ocean.

Dark cherry, blackberry and ripe plum meet notes of white pepper, fresh mint and subtle earthy spice. The palate is finely structured, with concentrated dark fruit, gentle mineral character and polished tannins, all carried by refreshing acidity.

A beautifully balanced Shiraz with understated power and impressive length, offering plenty of complexity without excessive weight. Particularly good alongside roast lamb, grilled beef or slow cooked mushroom dishes.
