Saltfleet Shiraz 2025

A modern McLaren Vale Shiraz with dark fruit, savoury structure and plenty of detail.

Grown on sandy loam soils along Ingoldby Road in McLaren Vale, this Shiraz reflects the region with ripe blue and black fruit, balanced by savoury tannins and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is medium to full bodied, with bright acidity keeping the darker fruit flavours focused and fresh.

Selectively harvested and open fermented, the wine spends 10 months in French oak, allowing gentle spice and structure to develop without overwhelming the fruit. Refined yet easy to enjoy, it is drinking well now but has the structure to reward some time in the cellar. A natural match for slow cooked beef, grilled lamb or hearty mushroom dishes.
