Schild Estate Ben Schild Shiraz 2021 is a single vineyard Barossa Shiraz from the Angus Brae site, drawn from old ancestor vines and crafted as a limited cellar release. It reflects a focused, site specific expression with added depth from extended maturation.

The nose is rich and layered, with blackberry, plum and dark cherry, alongside notes of spice, cocoa and subtle vanilla from time in French, American and Hungarian oak. There is a sense of quiet development already emerging.

On the palate, it is full bodied with concentrated dark fruit, softened tannins and a broad, rounded texture. The oak is well integrated, adding structure and complexity without overpowering the fruit, finishing long and composed.

A natural match for grilled beef, slow cooked lamb or rich winter dishes, this is a classic Barossa Shiraz built for both immediate enjoyment and extended cellaring.
