Spinifex Esprit 2023

A fragrant, mid weight Barossa red built around Grenache, with Shiraz, Cinsault and Mataro adding depth and spice.

Raspberry, red cherry and plum lead the nose, joined by rose hip, dried flowers, nectarine and gentle cinnamon and mace notes. The palate is bright and energetic, with red plum, raspberry and dried herbs carried by fresh acidity and fine, stony tannins.

The cool, long 2022 growing season gives the wine excellent aromatic lift and clarity without excess weight. Fresh, savoury and very easy to drink, it is a natural match for charcuterie, roast pork or Mediterranean style dishes.
