This is a dark, structured red with plenty of energy, combining brooding fruit with savoury spice and mineral detail.

Red and satsuma plum, cranberry and blackberry sit alongside dried rosemary, charcoal, hazelnut, cardamom and anise. The palate opens with sour plum, cassis and tart blackberry before moving into dried cherry, blueberry and woody spice. A firm line of plum skin acidity keeps the wine fresh, while cool, stony tannins give it shape and drive.

Powerful but not heavy, this is a vigorous, tightly structured style with excellent freshness. Pair with lamb, grilled beef or slow cooked dishes.
