The 2024 Springbank 18 Year Old is a distinguished expression of Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky, matured entirely in ex Bourbon casks. Aromas of tropical fruit, vanilla and honeyed malt unfold alongside lemon zest, coastal minerality and the distillery’s characteristic subtle peat smoke. The palate is richly textured yet remarkably precise, with notes of pineapple, ripe pear, golden syrup and toasted cereals balanced by sea salt, gentle spice and a distinctive chalky character. The finish is exceptionally long, carrying saline freshness, fine pepper and lingering citrus. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, this is a beautifully complex and mature expression of Springbank’s unmistakable house style.
