Stefano Lubiana Pinot Gris 2023

Stefano Lubiana’s 2023 Pinot Gris shows the more textural and savoury side of the variety, with fruit sourced from a mature, biodynamically farmed block in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley. A subtle golden pink hue leads into aromas of cut straw, rose, pear, quince, Turkish fig, apricot and spice. The dry palate is generous and layered, with skin contact and fermentation in 500L French oak puncheons adding phenolic grip, savoury detail and gentle tannin. Bright Tasmanian acidity keeps the richness in check, finishing long, clean and mineral. A distinctive Australian Pinot Gris with plenty of personality.
