Stefano Lubiana Sasso Pinot Noir 2022

Stefano Lubiana Sasso Pinot Noir 2022 is the estate’s flagship Pinot Noir, drawn from biodynamically farmed vines in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley.

A cool, slow growing season produced fruit with excellent freshness and aromatic definition. The wine shows dark cherry, raspberry and subtle floral notes, with earthy spice and a fine mineral edge adding complexity. Wild fermentation, a mix of whole bunch and destemmed fruit, basket pressing and maturation in seasoned French oak build structure without overwhelming the fruit.

Elegant but firmly shaped, with bright acidity and fine tannins, this is a Pinot Noir with genuine ageing potential. Ideal with duck, mushrooms or roast pork.
