Feudi Bizantini Terre dei Rumi is a generous, fruit driven expression of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from one of Italy’s most distinctive wine regions. The nose opens with red cherry, blueberry and blackcurrant, followed by darker berry fruit and subtle spice. Softly textured and medium to full bodied, the palate has plenty of concentration while remaining smooth and approachable, with ripe tannins providing gentle structure. A polished example of Abruzzo Montepulciano that delivers plenty of flavour without feeling overly heavy. Enjoy it with slow cooked beef, rich pasta, grilled sausages or aged cheeses.
