Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Lagrein is a refined expression of Alto Adige, where the dramatic alpine landscape of northern Italy provides an exceptional setting for this distinctive native variety. Sourced entirely from estate vineyards in the Dolomites, it reveals fragrant black cherry, dark plum and violet, complemented by subtle spice and savoury undertones. The palate is elegant and finely structured, with concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins and fresh acidity bringing balance and definition. Fermentation in stainless steel followed by maturation in French barriques and large oak casks lends depth without overwhelming the fruit. A beautifully composed, medium bodied Lagrein with excellent persistence, particularly suited to roast lamb, venison or aged cheeses.
