This Malbec is generous and plush, with lifted violet aromas alongside ripe plum, dark chocolate and subtle vanilla oak. The palate is soft and rounded on entry, with rich berry fruit supported by smooth, silky tannins and enough structure to carry the wine through a long, persistent finish. There is a gentle savoury edge beneath the fruit that keeps things balanced and fresh. A versatile style for slow cooked beef, roast duck or richer dishes with a touch of acidity, particularly anything with cranberry or sour cherry.
