Tissot Chardonnay En Barberon 2020

This is a powerful, site driven Jura wine from Domaine Andre et Mireille Tissot, made from grapes grown on limestone and marl soils. Fermented and aged without added sulphur, it has a golden hue and an expressive nose of butter, citrus and smoke, with plenty of mineral and savoury detail. The palate is concentrated and spicy, balancing richness with a firm mineral line and a long, persistent finish. Stephane and Benedicte Tissot farm biodynamically across the Jura, with minimal intervention in the cellar. Structured and ageworthy, this is a serious example of the region’s distinctive natural winemaking style.
