Trenel Fleurie 2023

Trenel Fleurie is a fragrant and finely structured Beaujolais cru, sourced from respected sites including Clos des Moriers, Rochaux and La Roilette.

Made from Gamay grown on coarse granite soils, it opens with violets, red cherry and raspberry, followed by subtle spice and a gentle mineral edge. The palate is bright and layered, with juicy red fruit, fresh acidity and fine tannins giving the wine more shape than its floral aromatics might suggest.

Whole bunch fermentation and maturation in tank or large old barrels preserve freshness and purity. Best served lightly chilled, this is a natural match for lamb, roast chicken or other white meats.
