Tyrell's Vat 1 Semillon 2013

Tyrrell’s Vat 1 Semillon 2013 is a benchmark Hunter Valley white from one of Australia’s most celebrated Semillon vineyards.

Sourced from the historic Short Flat Vineyard, including vines planted in 1923, it shows lemon, preserved citrus and subtle toast, with the extra savoury complexity that comes from bottle age. The palate remains remarkably light and focused, driven by fine acidity, mineral tension and a gently grippy finish.

Despite its age, the wine is still energetic and tightly structured, with plenty of development ahead. A classic match for oysters, grilled fish or simply prepared shellfish.
